YKK AP (JIANGSU) Established

YKK AP Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Akira Uozu) is pleased to announce that on September 26, it established YKK AP (JIANGSU) CO., LTD. as a manufacturing site for aluminum profiles, with the aim of expanding its business in China.

YKK AP (JIANGSU) has been established in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, which has good transportation access from Shanghai, where a sales site is located, and Suzhou, where a manufacturing site for components is located. Nantong is home to many Japanese companies, and the ease of securing personnel in the city makes it well-suited for a manufacturing site. Construction of a factory as a manufacturing base for aluminum profiles will begin hereafter, with operations scheduled to commence in October 2026.

YKK AP began operations in China in 1999 and currently has three manufacturing sites and eleven sales sites in the country. Our business in China is operated by YKK AP CO., LTD., which designs, manufactures, and sells window and sash products for the Chinese market, YKK AP (SUZHOU) CO., LTD., which manufactures components, curtain walls, and window products as a global manufacturing and supply base, DALIAN YKK AP CO., LTD., a manufacturing site for vinyl profiles for the Japanese market, YKK AP (SHANGHAI) INTERNATIONAL TRADING CO., LTD., which is responsible for global procurement, and YKK AP (CHINA) INVESTMENT CO., LTD., which oversees the aforementioned companies. Our business policy for China under the Mid-term Management Plan is to "rebuild the manufacturing and supply system to support sustainable growth." With the establishment of YKK AP (JIANGSU), we will build a manufacturing and supply system to support the initiatives we are currently undertaking to develop the mid-price range market and expand sales in our renovation business.
