About the YKK Group
YKK AP is one of the core businesses of the YKK Group, which operates in 72 countries and regions around the world.
YKK Group was founded in 1934 when its founder, Tadao Yoshida, began processing and selling zippers.
Since then, the company has expanded its operations, establishing an integrated production system and expanded its businesses overseas, all while introducing new values to zippers.
Today, the YKK Group centers around the manufacture of fastener products and YKK AP's architectural products (APs), evolving into a collective enterprise that shares the YKK spirit or "Cycle of Goodness" and the management philosophy or "Seeking Corporate Values of Higher Significance".
While holding common values and policy, each business enhances its competitive strength through the most suitable management structure for its respective field.
