* The Museum may be closed on an emergency basis if a warning is issued for the city of Kurobe, Toyama Prefecture.

Free (Visitors welcome without reservations)
Group Reservations
Groups of 10 or more are requested to make reservations by email or telephone.
Reservations are accepted from two months to three days before the planned date of the Museum visit.
Guided Tours
Museum staff will guide you around the Museum while explaining the exhibits.
- Days and times: Guided tours start at ① 10:00 and ② 14:00 on Saturdays and Sundays; each tour takes about 60 minutes.
- Limited to the first 15 visitors for each guided tour
Please make reservations by email or telephone.

- Men: three urinals, two toilets
- Women: three toilets
- Multipurpose restroom ①: wheelchair-accessible/ostomate-friendly toilet, infant seat, changing table

Nursing room
Diaper changing table, purified water heater for formula milk
Elevators
To ensure a barrier-free Museum, each floor is accessible by elevator.
Coin-operated lockers
100-yen coin required (coin returned after use)
- Eight small lockers
- Four medium-sized lockers (space sufficient for a carry-on bag)
* Large carry-on bags and other luggage will be kept at the reception desk.
Automated external defibrillator (AED)

Vending machines
Beverages are charged.
Rental Items
- Two baby strollers
- Two wheelchairs
- Five tablets for Chinese translation (to read Chinese descriptions by scanning the 2D codes on the exhibits)
Notes
- Smoking is prohibited throughout the Museum grounds, both indoors and outdoors.
- Vistors who appear intoxicated may be refused entry.
- Photography is prohibited (except in some rest areas).
- Pets are prohibited.
- Eating and drinking are prohibited (except in some rest areas).
